About BM built
BM built is a family owned and operated business with over twenty five years experience in residential and commercial building projects, at home and abroad. We specialise in all build types, small and large scale, including extensions, renovations and new home builds.
Established local builders, BM built services the North East region from our high country base in Mansfield. Our immediate service area includes Mansfield and the surrounding townships of Merrijig, Mount Buller, Jamieson, Goughs Bay, Boorolite, Mountain Bay, Tolmie, Barwite, Maindample, Bonnie Doon, Merton and more.
Meet Our Makers
NAOMI MARTIN
PARTNER - FINANCE & MARKETING
Naomi like her partner Ben, hails from the country, originally from Wagga Wagga, NSW. Naomi has a professional background in Sales and Marketing, Hospitality and Retail.
Once a Partner in a Brisbane based Bar & Restaurant, Naomi has also lived and worked interstate and overseas.
Naomi is now based in Mansfield, Victoria where both she and Ben are raising their future Carpenter’s, Cooper, Nixen and Laila.
Naomi has utilised her sales and marketing expertise in a tenure as Marketing Coordinator for Ray White Real Estate in Mansfield.
Naomi also has a keen interest in interiors and design, styling and managing one of the family's 'BM built' properties as a successful 5 star Superhost on Airbnb.
Naomi is responsible for finance and marketing for BM built, supporting Ben to provide personalised, efficient and quality services for all clients.
BEN MARTIN
PARTNER - REGISTERED BUILDER
Ben is a homegrown builder, who completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship with Jim Basham in Mansfield, Victoria in 1998. After extensive work on local build projects, around Mansfield and Mt Buller, he then set his sights on London, where he continued to do work on his passions for building.
Ben developed his skills over three years in the UK, including all facets of bulilding Victorian homes, loft conversions and more. He returned to Australia, and based in Melbourne, specialised in Commercial builds for Wakesun Constructions.
Relocating to Brisbane, QLD, he became Assistant Construction Manager for Builtex Homes/H4 Living, for the next 7 years and was privileged to build multi-million dollar homes on the Brisbane River. Throughout this time, he also became an accredited ËCO-block installer, where he assisted in launching H4 Living.
Ben returned to his grass roots in 2013, working alongside Jim Basham on Mt Buller, Mansfield and surrounding areas before establishing his own local company - BM built - capitalising on his extensive training, knowledge and experience, to continue to craft beautiful homes in the High Country and beyond.

At BM built we are passionate about good process and take a personalised approach to each project. Our goal is to ensure clients are confidently informed throughout each build from concept to completion.
Consultation & Planning
We undertake a thorough consultation with you to determine your expectations, preferences and the functionality required to complete your project.
Budget Estimate
BM built is committed to transparency regarding the costs associated with our services. We provide a detailed budget estimate for the scope of work right from the start.
Designs & Permits
Where required, we can coordinate professional designs for the project. Next we collate all relevant documentation and submit to the relevant authority in order to obtain a building permit where necessary.
Contract & Works
Following an approved contract we will carry out works within budget and within the agreed upon timeframe. Throughout the duration of the project we will continue to liaise to ensure you’re up to date with the status of the work.
